She had to choose. She chose the bear.

A viral thought experiment posed the following question to women: If you’d rather be stranded in the woods with a random man or a bear, which would you choose? Unsurprisingly, most chose the bear.

Thus, the theme of our monstrously steamy anthology was born. In each of these stories, a woman will find herself in a scenario where she’ll need to choose either a bear or a man, and (spoiler alert) she’ll choose the bear.

We’ve got grizzlies and polars and black bears aplenty. Shifters and shadows and kodiaks galore. We celebrate every subspecies of bear that exists––either in our minds or in reality––and the women who choose beasts over men due to past trauma, fear, anxiety, or purely for a night of spicy fun.

In honor of survivors past and present, all proceeds from this anthology will be going toward RAINN.
